Knidos, built on the land separating the Aegean and the Mediterranean and having coasts on both seas, is one of the most beautiful cities of the ancient world. Ancient Knidos, located 35 km from Datça District of Muğla Province in Western Türkiye, dates back to B.C. It was founded in the 4th century on the passage route of merchant ships on the Knidos Peninsula in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.
